On Behalf of the Tourism Minister, Ministry Secretary General Lights Christmas Tree in Tell Irbid

Representing the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Secretary General of the Ministry Yazan Al-Khudair, lit the Christmas tree in Tell Irbid, in the presence of Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum, Members of Parliament, clergy, and community members.
The ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in cooperation with the Irbid Municipality and St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Irbid.
In his remarks, Al-Khudair said the celebration reflects the essence of Jordanian identity based on coexistence, unity, and respect for diversity.
He extended his congratulations to Christian communities in Irbid and across the Kingdom on the occasion of Christmas.
He also highlighted the tourism and cultural significance of Irbid Governorate, citing its deep-rooted history and rich cultural heritage.
For his part, Father Dionysios Haddad said that celebrating Christmas in Tell Irbid carries profound spiritual and historical significance.
Following the lighting, Secretary General Al-Khudair inaugurated the “Bazaar of Love and Peace,” featuring local products and traditional handicrafts.
