Jordan’s Tourism Minister Lights Christmas Tree in Zarqa Governorate

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Emad Hijazeen, lit the Christmas tree in Zarqa Governorate during a ceremony held at Martyr Hazzaa Al-Majali Square.
The event was attended by several members of parliament, Zarqa Governor Dr. Firas Abu Qaoud, Head of Zarqa Municipality Committee Engineer Khaled Al-Khashman, representatives of local churches, and community members.
The celebration reflects Jordan’s message of promoting tolerance and harmony among all segments of society.
MP Dr. Hayel Ayash expressed pride in the occasion, describing it as a joyful event cherished by all Jordanians.
For his part, Father Athanasios, pastor of St. George’s Church in Zarqa, said that the city’s residents come together in brotherhood within the framework of a unified Jordanian social fabric.
