Minister of Tourism Participates in 28th Arab Tourism Ministerial Council in Baghdad
Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Emad Hijazeen, participated in the meetings of the 28th session of the Arab Tourism Ministerial Council, hosted in Baghdad.
Key topics were discussed at the meetings aimed at developing the Arab tourism industry and supporting the sector’s role in sustainable development.
During the meetings, Minister Hijazeen presented a memorandum on the “ArabiTrips” platform initiative, which was approved by the Executive Office of the Council as an official Arab tourism promotion platform.
The Council expressed its appreciation to Jordan for designing and implementing this pioneering platform.
“ArabiTrips” is the first Arab platform dedicated to promoting destinations through video content, adopting a social media-style approach.
The platform represents a strategic project that empowers local communities by highlighting underrepresented heritage, cultural, and natural sites.
