Ministers of Youth and Tourism Discuss Implementation of Youth Empowerment Programs in the Tourism Sector

The Minister of Youth, Dr. Raed Sami Al-Edwan, and the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Emad Hijazeen, met to discuss mechanisms for implementing joint programs aimed at equipping youth with the skills needed to integrate into the tourism sector.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Al-Edwan emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to developing specialized training programs as part of the youth center development plan.

For his part, Dr. Hijazeen noted that the tourism sector is one of the most capable of employing young people, highlighting job opportunities in tourist guiding, hospitality, and tourism entrepreneurship.

The two sides agreed to prepare a joint execution plan that includes training and qualification programs, as well as expanding partnerships with the private sector.
