Ministers of Youth and Tourism Follow Up on Youth Empowerment Programs in the Tourism Sector

The Minister of Youth, Dr. Raed Sami Al-Edwan, and the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Emad Hijazeen, followed up on the implementation plan for youth empowerment programs aimed at integrating young people into the tourism sector.

The ministers reviewed work areas focusing on developing youth skills and linking them to labor market needs, particularly in tourist guiding.

They emphasized the importance of expanding partnerships with the public and private sectors, as well as civil society institutions, to provide sustainable job opportunities for youth.

Prior to the meeting, the ministers met with representatives from the Future Talents Fund to discuss mechanisms for cooperation in supporting technical and vocational training.
