Ministry of Tourism Organizes Awareness Workshop at Zarqa University
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in partnership with the Nahno platform, organized an awareness workshop at Zarqa University to promote the protection of archaeological and tourist sites.
The workshop aimed to strengthen shared responsibility toward safeguarding national heritage and enhancing the role of local communities in the tourism sector.
It addressed several key topics, including the role of the Development and Employment Fund in empowering local communities.
It also highlighted the importance of archaeological awareness in Jordan and the role of local communities in strengthening tourism security.
The workshop was organized by the Directorate of Investment and Local Community Empowerment at the Ministry.
This workshop is part of a series of ongoing awareness initiatives implemented by the Ministry in universities and local communities.
