Tourism Development Committee in Tafila Reviews Strategic Plan and Executive Program

The Tourism Development Committee in Tafila Governorate, chaired by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Yazan Al-Khudair, convened to discuss the draft of the governorate’s comprehensive strategic plan for tourism development.
The meeting was attended by Tafila Governor Dr. Sultan Al-Madi, representatives from relevant government bodies, and stakeholders from the tourism sector.
The committee was established by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Emad Hijazeen following his recent visit to Tafila.
Committee members reviewed the proposed plan’s key pillars, focusing on improving tourism infrastructure and highlighting investment opportunities.
Local officials and community representatives proposed several development projects with economic impact potential.
Al-Khudair stressed that the strategic plan aims to enhance tourism infrastructure, elevate visitor experiences, and promote community participation.
Al-Madi praised Minister Hijazeen’s commitment to supporting and developing Tafila’s tourism sector.
In parallel, Al-Khudair visited the Tafila Vocational Training Center to review a ministry training program and toured Tafila Castle and other sites.
