 Tourism Ministry Launches Training Program for Service Providers and Tourism Sector Employees

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the commencement of its specialized training program for service providers and employees in the tourism sector.
The program, launched in cooperation with the Vocational Training Corporation and Ammon Applied University College, aims to develop professional skills and enhance workforce readiness.
The initiative forms part of the Ministry’s 2024–2026 Tourism Skills Development Strategy.
The program targets 450 participants, including service providers and staff from hotels, restaurants, tour offices, and handicraft centers.
Training sessions are being conducted at the Vocational Training Corporation’s institutes across all governorates.
Participants benefit from financial incentives and, upon successful completion, receive accredited certificates.
The Ministry emphasized that the program contributes directly to the national economy by empowering youth and supporting the Economic Modernization Vision.
