Tourism Secretary General: Artificial Intelligence Is a Pillar of Advanced Technology

Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Yazan Al-Khudair, inaugurated a specialized workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Tourism Sector,” organized by the Ministry’s Human Resources Directorate in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

Al-Khudair emphasized that artificial intelligence has become the most important tool and a core pillar of advanced technology systems worldwide.

He revealed that the Ministry is moving toward implementing major strategic projects that will rely primarily on artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

Al-Khudair added that this step reflects the strategic directions of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Emad Hijazeen.

Assistant Secretary General for Financial, Administrative Affairs and Governorates, Amani Al-Zabin, said that holding the workshop comes as an immediate response to directives from senior management.

The workshop included discussion sessions delivered by experts from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
